Hallo am a avid reader of this blog but never registered to comment. i got my pr in canada 2 years ago after working as LCG 3 years. 9 years ago i went to germany for 1 year then later went to uk where i overstayed my visa for 2 years. i was not arrestsed so no fingerprints taken. Never mentioned my travel history and got my visa went to canada. Am not justifying what i did but the stufff i read about backgroung check makse me wonder if its accurate. sorry thats just my opinion. let no one be offended.

you were lucky...

Its not the fact of someone being offended,i beleive applications are checked and you have been very lucky to have received your pr. Our paperwork had been returned due to one very minor problem. Im sure many the same as us. So i dont think its right you should comment on how you managed to get to Canada. I dont mean to sound harsh ,to many of us this is a lifetime dream. After being refused we dont need to read about people who was not 100% honest and got through.

Hi i just want to know that how the travel history can be checked if my passport is already expired and i am applying with the new one because my visa was stamped on the previous one so if i dont show the earlier passport does that means that my travel history cannot be checked or still it can be checked so i have to get police clearance from all the countries which i have visited in the near past. Thanks..........
