Back Ground Declaration form question 9: Help needed..

Seniors..your quick feedback will be appreciate...I got my student visa denied by US embassy Mumbai,due to improper paper work and then later on as I corrected my paper work they issue my visa..so in back ground declaration form question 9,do I need to mention it? and if I mention yes then will it make any impact on my Canada PR application decision?

If the US embassy has mentioned about the visa rejection in the passport, then it is advisable to disclose it. otherwise no need.

they just make note on back page that application received....on perticular date...but this is student visa..is it comes under temporary or visiting visa?
