Baby on the way- passport issue

hi,

I recieved my ita a month back and am about to complete my application. I'm pregnant and expect to deliver in September. In India to get a passport for the baby we need to have spouse name on the passport. But currently I don't have my husband's name on my passport. To get it on the passport I would have to get my passport reissued. I'm the primary applicant. How would this affect my pr process and what alternatives can we pursue?

It doesn't affect it. Once you have your new passport, you just send a copy to IRCC to inform them of the change.
