Hello,
Recently we have been blessed with a baby *after* I submitted all docs to New Delhi CHC in August 2010 and got 2nd AOR subsequently (only file no. recvd. on email enquiry). Now the passport of the baby will take around 3 months + to get, even if I apply immediately. Now I would like to know whether I should intimate ND CHC after getting baby's passport (along with necessary extra fees, POF reqt. etc.) or should I tell them now? Looking at their processing speed, I guess Meds and RPRF in my case would be after Feb. or March 2011 anyway.
I am also planning to submit some additional docs (training/appreciation certificates as further proof of Job Duties). Can I submit them now, after the 120 days deadline is over ?
Again the IELTS doc. submitted will have expired in Nov. 2010 (test was taken in Nov. 2009) and the Indian PCC will expire in Dec. 2010. Do I need to retake IELTS and again apply for PCC (I have not changed my place of residence since then).
I am really confused and any help on the above matters would be appreciated.

Inform about Baby now and apply for the PP and send it once PP are requested for all including the baby
Do not send additional docs at this point in time unless you have not submitted the required docs like employment contract and Reference letters
No need to take IELTS and PCC again. The expiry date is till submission date and not after that. IF PCC is needed again CHC will ask for it

Regarding baby, same case as mine. Inform CHC immediately and tell them about the time lines involved for acquiring new born's pp and birth certificates. If CHC is moving with your case, they will put the progress on hold till your final correspondense with all documents on new born.

There is no harm in sending any additional documents at later stage but it is always advisable to submit all required with basic application pack. Regarding IELTS and PCC, u dont hv to worry about unless CHC asks you to re-submit the fresh ones. It's their internal procedure that takes extra time and documents expire which can never be treated as applicant's failure. At most i expect that in final stages, CHC may ask u to submit fresh PCC only that u should NOT worry about now.

OK, I will inform ND CHC immediately (actually the baby was born more than a month back, but I was unfortunately v. preoccupied with urgent personal matters).

Regarding employment contract, notarised copy has been submitted, however it does not contain JD and unfortunately since I am in a Govt. PSU company no reference letters in any form are provided. That is why , I have already sent some proofs such as trng. certifcates, promotion letters etc. in the main file sent in August but just to be doubly sure and calm my nerves, I wanted to submit the addn'l docs .

That's a relief, it is a hassle to get PCC (and also IELTS docs) done again and I do hope I am not asked to provide another PCC ::)..

Asyousuf bhai, thx. for your quick reply. I will inform CHC ND abt. the baby now and will also send additional docs. I guess my case might get delayed by a few more months but I believe that is unavoidable, given my current situation ::). However, without the bar-coded stickers, which I have not received from CHC ND till date, any idea whether they will accept my letter+docs now?
