Hello.

There is a query for which I would like to know, I have applied for a Federal Skill Worker under the NOC: 1122 from Karachi, Pakistan, according to process I was informed from my consultant that it take 4 months (122 days) to receive a b-file number from Canada, but now its been more then 130 days I have not received my b-file number

Can any one please tell me the actual or approximated time by which this b-file number is received?

My application was received at Sydney Nova Scotia dated as 17th August 2011; I confirmed that from a DHL Tracking Number which was provided to me on time of dispatching my document

Please help me I am really worried regards to this matter

Hi!

First of all are you sure CAP (maximum 500 applications per NOC) wasn't reached when your application reached there on 17 Aug 2011.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

Secondly PER (positive eligibility review) takes normally 2 months or 60 days. Your consultant may not be right here. Have you checked if your demand draft / credit card has been en cashed / charged. If that is so then you are eligible and you will receive PER.

Send CIC an urgent email to check your status. Their email is

CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca

Do not leave any gaps in above email address.

Include your full name, date of birth, address, email, telephone no etc. After sending an email you will get an automatic acknowledgement that you get a reply in 28 days but normally its much quicker.

Finally never trust these consultants they are always after money and rip you off.

Thanks

Thanks a million, I`ll do it accordingly

one more thing, my consultant has add his e mail address in my visa form

will it be appropriate if i send e mail to nova scotia from my personal e mail address ?

Hi!

Yes tell them you are an actual applicant and you want to know to know the status of your application and email address on the application form was that of your consultant.

Thanks

They can be reached by telephone too....I have found the following post from forum. Make sure to contact them in their working hours. When prompted provide your details like full name ,date of birth, address, email etc.

The cap for NOC 1122 was reached more than a month before your application was received. Unfortunately this means your application is going to be returned to you.
