B file number receiving time

Hi I am from

Karachi Pakistan. Need help. I received my PER (1st Eligibility) on November 15th 2011. Still waiting for B file number. What is normal or maximum time required to get B number ? should I email them ? I was told by consultant that emailing them will effect your case in negative way. Getting restless as its almost 6 months now since i received PER. Please help

Emailing will not affect your case, though they prefer that applicants keep inquiries to a minimum. You can contact them if it's taken longer than the normal processing times on their website.
