Hi Qurax,

I know you have answered this question to almost everyone who have asked you and if you could do the same thing for me also I would appreciate it. We have "received by visa office" status on april 12, 2010 from buffalo office. We were wondering if you could give us when can we expect a reply from them or in short any kind of correspondence from them. From reading the forums it seems like it takes a lot of time for buffalo office can you tell me from your experience how long should we wait. We had called once but all they said was is still being processed.

From Recd by VO, one should get the Meds Call by 4-6 months. In between, if there's a need for addnl docs, around 3-5 months that should be asked. However, Buffalo is usually late in processing our cases. Thus, u could expect some delays, around 2-4 months to all the stages... if there r no red Flags in your case.

sir u said if there is need for addnl docs,around 3-5mths that should be asked, what type of docs are these?what i have heared is that we should send full docs to vo in one go and if the file is incomplete they will reject the case after 120 days deadline.

Yes, u r required to send full package in one go. But, there could be times/scenarios when the VO might find something amiss, or needs further clarifications; and could ask for addnl [supporting] docs.
