Me and my wife applied for Permanent Residency under Skilled worker in Dec 2011. We did not hear anything from them up to sept 2013 and in sept 2013 we got an email asking for new forms as the forms changed. We sent the forms the very next day, till then the status on web was We received your application for permanent residence on December 19, 2011. then status changed to We started processing your application on October 3, 2013 on Oct 03 2013.
And still now its the same status over the web. we asked the immigration agent to get in touch with the respective authorities but they say that we should not contact the immigration department and we should just keep waiting.
Our work permit is expiring in Nov 2014 and we are really worried about the situation.
Please advise what should we do.
