I’m a refugee claimant that arrived in 2017 my court case was postponed and I haven’t heard anything about it. Is this normal?

Called many time but they said 2 year is wait time, but many people came around us already done hearings and alot of after us.

You can’t compare times between different applications. Some are more straight forward than others.

Agreed.
But what is your understanding as a senior member, is it negative if hearing delayed compare to others who came almost same time and done hearings? How do you see this delay?

You were processed during the height of the irregular crossings. They have slowly implemented changes trying to the system. Since many who arrived earlier have to establish roots in Canada they become harder to deport. There is an effort to process those arriving faster so they can be deported more easily. Older applications seem to be slowly being processed in another pile.
