Humber College never gives admissions to genuine students, all students from Punjab with JUGAAD go to this college, avoid this college as Visa rejection is high !!!!

anyone confirm this.

is this the only problem? are there any problems after you join the college?

This colege doesn't even send u letter of acceptance where as better colleges than Humber like Seneca and George Brown send u the acceptance in a Month's time !!! I know few Consultants in Canada and they told me that Humber is the place for Desis to enjoy, this is not a college to study !!!!

HI,

i am just wondering , how come you get to know this , that humber is not a good college,

are you in Canada?, cause i did ask to couple of my cousin they lived in Toronto and studying in Seneca College, and they did told to me that Humber is not dam or fake or bogus college,

people are not getting visa because of their own mistakes , Colleges dont mind to give you admission as we are paying a high amount of money ,
if we are getting admission by using fake documents or JOGAROO documents , they dont bother to verify , because its need time and they handling thousand of application ,
Do you think they got enough time to verify each and every doucments from all over the world,

some are catch able in your home countries embassies and some are not .

but you cant blame to Colleges
sorry disagree with you.

Humber is a real college with genuine students. There may be some courses or classes that have higher percentage of international students. But this is certainly a real and government recognized school.

You can't really blame the college for the high visa rejection rate. Humber accepts students based on their academic credentials. To be approved for a student visa by CIC you have to prove that you have strong ties to you home country, no plans on remaining in Canada long term, no study mismatch, sufficient funds to pay for your living expenses, etc. Humber obviously doesn't look at any of this when approving applications.

HI,
That's right.
In 2011 more than 90% students were from INDIA in HUMBER college in GBM programe.

That you can see from post of 'Pissed' (forum member).

@scylla

what do you mean by this "strong ties to you home country, no plans on remaining in Canada long term"

does this mean that the colleges dont like foreign students to be staying in the canada?

Hello Scylla Sir,
I have question for you.
If you given choice of (1) GLOBAL BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, (2) INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MGT. (3)MARKETING MANAGEMENT.

which course you will prefer?(if you have to choose from these 3 courses.)

whatever it may be just give our opinion. It will help a lot.

That's absolutely correct. Thanks for helping to clarify.

The school has no objections. It's CIC that wants to know these things.

It's hard for me to say... Are all three at the same school? Are they all diplomas? What's the difference between the three? (#1 and #2 sound the same.)

@syclla
meaning that if i dont return in my country for so many years, i wont be getting PR? or extended visa?

coz right now, i havent gone back to India for about 7 years.

To be approved for a study visa - you must demonstrate strong ties to you home country and prove you have no plans to remain in Canada long term. How you prove these things is up to you. However it probably will make things more difficult that you haven't gone back to India for 7 years.

@scylla

what my education consultant told me was..

""get student visa, finish 2 year course, get a job asap, extend visa using work (visa or permit, i forgot), then after working, apply for PR.""

she said this, but i dont know if there are risks or failure on getting PR, she didnt mentioned about "strong ties to your country"
