Australian New Skilled List Came yesterday (Tight policy)

Hi all,

New list showing that they don't need more people because that list shows skilled required very very high professional people,
Australia getting very tight policy for new Immigration. Very very unfair.

Do you think, A person who qualify for Canada PR will also be qualify for Australia PR?

There are many occupation in that list.

I have a query, In canada FSW program, candidate must have at least 1 year of work experience under 38 category.

What about Australia, They require 1 year experience or continuous 6 years experience in same occupation?

My advise is Australian PR is always easy if you fall in any of one category and you have to show your documents in good shape like all kind of proofs , pictures, salary receipt, all even every single proof you have to submit with you file and IELTS offcourse then no worries to get PR. BUT NEVER EVER EVER EVER COME ON STUDENT VISA people on student visa here like trash sorry to say that. just waist money and time and lots lots of hassel. Please dont come on student visa (please) All teachers are always wellcome as a PR visa very easy. Trust me guys.

Australiam immi need more than 1 yr experience and they offshore application time frame is 3 years and onshore time frame is 2yrs they are taking lot of time compare to canadian immigration.

For canada FSW system, the fees is $550+$490=$1040 / person

What about Australian Immigration Fess?
I think, It is very high.

Its $2550 at the moment and it changes every year 1st July but it includes the secondary applicant as well.
So for one application it cost $2550 and then plus medical and pcc cost etc etc

Australian immigration is done in two phases, in first phase you need to send your educational/experience document to suitable authority (for example for IT guys its called ACS), they assess based on your experience and education that you fall on the current occupation list or not and award you occupation code/points accordingly. They will charge you some fee e.g ACS charges $400.00 AUD.

Then with this assessment code you will apply for immigration to DIAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship) they charge $2550 AUD for all (main/dependents) applicants.

However, if there are some dependents with you over 18 yrs of age than i recommend that they pass IELTS with at-least 4.5 band else they will need to under take English language course for which you will have to pay a hefty amount. I get more on this if you want to.

So in total it costs Skills Assessment Fee + 2550 AUD + some nominal cost for medical etc.

I heard, minimum process time is 2 years, right.

Can any one get the point for IELTS if S/He Score just 5.0 Band in exam?
I think, they require minimum 6 Band to get IELTS ponit. right?

Time 2 yrs unless you have employer who can sponser you that will put you on a fast track ( 4-6 months )

If you get 6 in each band in Ielts you willl get 15 points and for General Skilled you need minimum atleast 6 in each band of IELTS.

If you get 7 in each band you will get 25 points.

Yes that is the new list released on 17th May and is effected from 1st of July.

All ofshore applicants are temporary suspended until end of June. So no one can apply now under the old list.
