Hi,

My aunt (Indian passport with Canadian visitor visa for 10 yrs) is travelling to Toronto from Chennai on 5th April, I was about to purchase a ticket but had a questions around it:

1. I read in forums that two way ticket is mandatory for visitor visas - is that true
2. I never travelled through Saudi Airlines, is it okay and reliable (layover is 3 hrs. each way)

Please help me -

Thanks,

1. Yes - it's mandatory. The airline won't even let her get on the plane to Canada without a two way ticket.
2. I can't answer this question.

Even if the airline let you board the plane , its very difficult to convince the CBSA at Toronto Airport.. Sometimes you may be lucky they just ask return dates without having to show them the proof.

Thanks for your replies, will buy the return as well.

That's not true. The airline would not ask her for a two way ticket, however a CBSA officer might ask for it.

For anyone reading this older post, Saudi Airlines is quite reliable.

I've personally traveled with it on multiple occasions, domestically and international.
