Hi leon........I have got a Question for you and will be Delighted if you can answer.One of my friend is curruntly living in Australia on Temporary residence(TR)....he got marry with a a canadian PR girl back in India and he applied his case in India,but given australian address for mailing address.he got a Letter from Canada Delhi office at his Australian address to provide them his paspport and he sent it via Courier.They got it and they sent his passport on his indian address and his father accepted as he send a Authority letter to his father to receive his mails.Now one of his family friend was coming to australia and they bring his passport with canada visa stamped on it and passport is in his hand.Now he is confuse that if he can get a ticket from Australia and fly to canada straight to canada or he has to go back to india and fly from Delhi...plz reply

He can land from anywhere, just because his visa was issued in India doesn't mean he needs to arrive from India to land.

CBSA does not care where you fly from as long as the visa is valid....no point in spending extra money to fly to India and back to Canada
