Hi all

I am finishing up my application, and am wondering if it would benefit my application to purchase/attach plane tickets to my application for both me and my husband? I will be applying middle to end of March, and would be purchasing the tickets for middle of November. Would IRCC consider this as a positive, or am I jumping the gun? I am a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my Japanese husband (outland, both in Japan at the moment) and have a very straight forward case.

Thanks for your help!

I wouldn't include the plane ticket.

Since you are sponsoring your spouse while outside of Canada, you do need to include evidence with the application that shows you plan to return to Canada once the visa is approved. However normally the way to show this is through other evidence such as property owned in Canada or other assets, job offer in Canada, etc.

Thanks, I will leave it out! Just wanted to double check before a drop a few grand on flights (especially during COVID)
