ATTACHING additional info....HOW? I need help (Thank you)

I've received an e-mail from the VO to attach the testing date (IELTS) to the complete documentation. Since my complete doc. was sent to the VO in July (where I didnt state when I would take the test) how can I do that now? Do I send an additional sheet where I write the date (25 September) when I'll take the test, or do I send some information about the date by e-mail? Thank you

I assume providing IELTS test details through an e-mail, or using the Case-Specific-Enquiry form should address the issue. E-mailing is supposedly more reliable mode with your Canadian Visa Office.
