As per the new standards, you may need to improve your IELTS score. However hospitality should be in the demand list.

I still recommend you to wait for Qorax response.

As the previous member opined correctly, that 5.5. is a no go. Currently CIC requires CLB7, which translates to a min of '6' in each band of IELTS. As re. applying under FSWC-2013 u'd need to wait & see if ur profession is in the list of occupations, which is likely to be announced during Apr-13 and the 'assessment of ur foreign quals' thru an accredited inst.

I'd advice u to be on this thread for all ur queries.

Respectfully,,,,,,i wish to get an information that if someone is in low skill with job offer.......may he also need the same IELTS band.......like bookkeeper, who is not in NOC list....?
