if anyone is applying under this stream for jobs it is ESSENTIAL you put on your application that it doesn’t require a labour market impact assessment i.e the company doesn’t need to prove they need to hire a foreign worker.
The problem here is the employers have NO IDEA about the conditions of the program, so they come back to me every time saying “no you need a work permit and we have to prove to the government we need a foreign worker” this is despite me linking them to the AIP website where it confirms without a doubt they do not need to do this.
As a result every employer declines my application despite being interested. This is a total mess and i am at a loss as to what to do in my situation, but i would strongly suggest linking them to the aip website so they can read what they have to do.
