The IRCC received my application on October 1, 2018, as normal procedure they requested me to submit my medical exams and I completed it on November 6, 2018. However, since November I haven't received any notification, message, email or updated on my GCKey.

Today is April 1, 2019, it means that it has passed 6 months since IRCC received the application and it's still on process, I would like to know if this is normal? And if the IRCC sent the resolution by mail they will confirm me by email or GCKey messages? I'm afraid that it could be lost by my local mail services.

Just call the number 18882422100 then press 3-4-1-0. There other numbers u can also press but I got through using this number. There may be long wait like 25-30 mins hold time, but I called at around 8:30 am and I was on hold for about 7 minutes. Then when agent picks up tell him you want to know about status of the application and it's been a really long time since your file was updated on mycic.
