At what stage application docs are returned?

Can anyone who went through interview process please let me know at what stage the docs (including pitures )which we submit to them are returned? do they come through mail or they hand over after you are interviewed. Thanks

I'm pretty sure there's no guarantee that anything will be returned.

I think that's a courtesy, but it's by no means a rule. If they return the pictures I think they will when they return the passport to you.

b optimist i m sure nothing wrong will happen with u all of my prayers r with u guys .......... dont thing negative ................. i knw interview was not that well ......... but if ur hubbys divorce paper is genuine then why ur worried .........................let them check

in our case they returned our pictures together with passports with visas, but just pictures, nothing else.

If you have an interview, you will sometimes receive the pictures back after the interview is over. Depends on if they still need them or not. If you have no interview, the pictures are usually returned with the passport+visa or sometimes even before that.

Thank you for your replies. asimkhan the divorce certificate is absolutely genuine but still worried until he gets visa The officer did not ask for remedical, at what stage do they ask for remedical, is it with the passport request?

They returned our pictures along with either the AOR or the request for more information when they requested state police certificates from the U.S.A.; I can't remember specifically with which one of the two. This was Buffalo.

hmmmmmmmm i m not the expert but from others experience which i know............... they ask for remedical (if expired) only when they are satisfied with all the pre-requisites of the immigration process .................... if they are not satisfied with other documents then they might not ask for it ........ SORRY as this information is not going to relax you but still hope for the best and I must remind you that I am not an expert ............ this just happened with someone earlier that interview called but no remedicals ............ then after 2 months the objection they had was removed and then they requested for fresh medical along with passport

My husband got our pictures back at the end of his interview.

As for remedicals, they will request for that when they request for the passport. However, some people (like my husband) have redone their medicals before they recieve thier passport request to supposedly save time.

Thanks for sharing the info asimkhan and sadgirl, we are hoping for the best. So many people do get the the remedical with the passport request, thats encouraging The officer also gave my husband about two months time to make the decision
