A friend of mine wants so seek asylum in Canada and she wants to get contacts for a lawyer who can work on her case. can you please suggest names for her to contact ?

Does she hold a valid TRV (visitor visa to Canada)?

There are two ways she can claim asylum. If she wants to claim in Canada, she needs a TRV to first get to Canada.

If she is outside of Canada and cannot get a TRV, she would first need to be outside of Egypt and then also be recognized as a refugee by UNHCR or a similar referral organization before she can apply to come to Canada as an asylum seeker.

Just curious, but where is the other parent? You might not be able to take your kids out of the country without a letter of consent, and if you don't have full custody/a letter of consent, Canada will inspect you closely to make sure there's no kidnapping going on etc.
