Hello every one. I need help, am a journalist in uganda who has been actively reporting politics but now being hurted by security. One day the security arrested and tortured my paterner leading to our lose of pregnancy as they forced her to reveal where am hiding. So am seeking for asylum both me and my paterner. Any help becouse now i live between death and life.

Do you have a TRV to come to Canada? Once you reach Canada, claim asylum at the airport. That is the only way to claim asylum at a Canadian border. The Canadian government doesn’t give asylum until you present yourself at a Canadian airport. Or you leave Uganda and register as a refugee with UNHCR. UNHCR determines where you will sette.
