Asylum Seeker in Country of Residence

I am an asylum seeker in another country, which is my country of residence, my case is still being determined. I have completed all the requirements to apply for Express Entry in Canada, infact my last calculation of my score was 457. I am skeptical of applying or creating an Express Entry profile because I think that my status in my country of residence might disqualify me on grounds of eligibility. Kindly advise. Thanks

Being an asylum seeker does not disqualify you or make you ineligible for EE.
