I am a Pakistani national applying for Canadian immigration under the skilled worker category. Although I have completed most of my application requirements, I am having some doubts with my employment reference letters.
I have a cumulative work experience of six year in a required NOC category/occupation. However, all that experience has been with two company both of which are family concerns owned and operated by my sister. These businesses were small business when we started out and we have built them into medium size enterprises. Since we were small companies, we were very lean, with me working directly under my sister's supervision. Now that I am required to provide my employment reference letters, both of them will have to be written by my sister.
Do you think this would be a problem? Would immigration officials doubt the authenticity of the letters given its written by a family member?
Would you all have any advice for me at this point?
