Hi all

Here goes: I was previously in Canada and overstayed on a visa, in addition I applied after to stay in the country but was denied. I have my interview now in my home country which applies for spouse sponsership. Does anyone know if my home country immigration Canada will have my exact file from canada? I just want to be prepared upfront.

Please any answers or guidence appreciated

Yes, the overseas office has access to your File via the FOSS notes.

I am sure they know about your past application denial and your overstay.. Be honest with them...

100%, whenever any body apply 1st of all they check own database if u ever apply for visa.
so be sure about this that they know about Ur previous Record. and if in the past anybody have mark as deported or over stay that's a very big Red flag for IO.

So you be honest with them and enplane them what happen and why did u over stay there if u gonna try hide so u know they have data.

Don't worry just stay with honesty and positive
Good luck

Thank you all so much, especially for the support.

I truly believe honesty is the best policy :).

I will let you know how everything went. I trust god and his goodness, life is a process and I know he is truly taking me through a great process to build character. ;)

Best of luck..
