Hello,

I studied one year diploma and got one year work permit. I started working as Software Tester for an Ontario Incorporated company as Full Time Employee and he even applied for LMO and I got it(my current work permit is closed for that employer). I gained one year experience now. But I worked at client location as consultant in Alberta, all the year of my work experience I worked and lived in Alberta. But my employer is in Ontario and he generated my payrolls and paid taxes for me. Is this situation will become a problem if I apply for PR under CEC??? Reason I worried is, I worked in Alberta for Ontario Incorporation employer and he paid taxes in Ontario for Ontario government?? Please help me regarding this?

Thank you

Raki.

No, not a problem. Your taxes would actually go to the province where you resided on Dec 31 of the tax year, doesn't matter where your employer deducted them.
