I am a physiotherapist by profession and self employed. I have heard from many people that self employed don't get PR easily. Is that true???
Do people with job experience have faster processing time compared to self employed ones???

hello Asivad,

I need your insight on some issues before me. My score is currently 369 . Im hopint to increasse my score by retaking IELTS again . However, my questions are:
1. i did a 2 year diploma at a polytechnic before i went ahead for my BSc... i included it in my educational history on EE. should i have it accessed and if yes, will it gain me more points? (i already had my BSc accessed by ICAS)

I don't think this will help. Only post graduate diplomas are counted under the "Two or more diploma..." option. Assessing this diploma will make no difference to your score.

2. i started work in august 2011 and resigned oct 31st 2012 to work in my current office..ive been here since nov 6 2012 (just 6 days gap). does this count for me as 3 years cos i know i will get more points if that counts.

You can claim nearly 4 years of experience for CRS purposes. For program eligibility purposes, you can claim experience gained under a single NOC only. In either case, the gap is not a problem.

thanks in advance for the response. ive been so confused on what to do as ive set the ball rolling on getting my transcript from the polytechnic.

thanks alot Asivad. however, i got only 13 points for Foreign work experience. very confusing. my only option is to retake ielts which will boost my score to 416 if i get high scores across board.
