As the primary applicant, can I say "Yes" to family in Canada and pick "Brother" if my brother-in-law is PR of Canada. Thanks in advance for your help

Hi All, during the CIC Quiz I said "No" to family in Canada because I do not have a direct family instead my spouse who will be accompanying me to Canada has a brother. I was under impression, I will be asked at some point if my spouse has a family in Canada but I didn't get that question. Now I am worried that we might miss on Family points. I still haven't submitted my application and going back and editing is still an option for us. Can anyone correctly guide me through this issue?, please

So you received invitation for PR without the points? When filling out the PR application then mention it then.

Oh no. Sorry for miss communication. I am in process of applying for Express Entry Program. CIC quiz was like a pre application quiz.

For anyone looking for exact information, you can say NO in your own section but it will ask the sane for your partner and there you can say YES and get the family points.
