Hello

Im applying as a parent with 2 kids. How do you arrange the papers inside the envelope? Do you staple anything? Where to put the photos?

Thanks so much

Someone told me not to staple any files in the application but anyway, I stapled files that had multiple pages and put everything in a butterfly clip including photos. I arranged everything in order as per the document checklist. Good luck!!

Arrange your documents as per the checklist.

As for staples, I'm not sure about citizenship application, but with the PR application the guide specifically says not to use staples

Regardless of who you are sponsoring:
  • Always check country specific requirements before submitting your application.
  • For some countries, originals of certain documents are required. In these cases, you must submit the original and not a copy. If you do not submit original documents when required, your application will be returned as incomplete.
  • Don’t use staples, binders, plastic sleeves, folders or albums to submit your application. Elastic bands for photos or paper clips are acceptable.

I used colored paper separator and used plastic paper clips to hold all the papers of the same applicant together.
I had 3 applicants in my envelope.

I put my photos in a smaller envelope just so they wouldn't be missed, and everything else was just stacked in order with no clips or bindings in the main envelope. It's not like it's going to fall out of the envelope or change order on the way there...
