Hi Everyone,

This is my first post ever and I am hoping for your help on my concern.

In October 2011, I submitted my application for permanent residency based on arranged employment. I filed my application through an agent based in Canada.

In January 2012, I recieved an email from Centralized Intake Office in Sydney saying my application has "received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of Arranged Employment in Canada" and that it will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing.

I live in UK and had opted for Canadian High Commission in London for the processing.

When I check my application status on the online system of the high commission, it shows that the application is in process and when I click on the detail, it says "your application was recieved October 2011". I have not had any correspondence from the High Commission for far.

I was under the impression that applications with arranged employment are nomally processed within 6 months, but it certainly doesn't seem to be happening in my case.

Can someone please suggest when should I expect to hear from the high commission. Is someone out there in a similiar situation such as mine?

Also, please note I hold an Indian passport.

Thanks in advance,

send the LVO a CSE

Hey thanks for your response. I have no idea what LVO and CSE mean :D

Please can you explain.. sorry to sound stupid :P

Im Facing the same situation with arranged employment my status show

we received your application on Dec 2011

nothing else since that.........

LVO is the London Visa Office

CSE is a Case Specific Enquiry

As you have an AEO it is perfectly reasonable to send them an e-mail asking as to why there is a delay on your applications.

As you will see I also have an AEO and I am progessing fairly quickly.

@Ryanomil:

Thanks a lot for your response. I will do this then I guess.
Btw from your profile, it looks like you filed application in March this year and have already got your medicals done, is that right? Seems things have been very quick for you.

@Awai ali:

Thanks for your response. I guess we should send a CSE as suggested by ryanomil. Where are you located?

@Ryamomil

Please can you confirm whether below address is the correct one to send email on.

ldn@international.gc.ca

Also, will a normal email do or does have to be in a specific format?

Thanks in advance, your response in much appreciated.

re-london-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca <remove the spaces>

I have also received my 3rd line on ECAS. With my AEO things have progressed very nicely for me. Just wish it was all over so I can finally land in Toronto.

What has your employer said about the amount of time i has taken so far? If my case wasn't progressing and I couldn't give updates to my boss he would chew my ass a new one?

My consultant says it will take 14-16 months to finalize my case. I thing MI-3 applicants are processed faster than MI-2
