Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I have a question regarding arranged employment for FSW2 category.

Lets say that I can come to Canada to work under IEC Working holiday program-open work permit. Lets say that I will find a job in occupation from C or D group from main NOC list. Lets say that I can arrange permanent job offer for occupation in this C or D category from main NOC list and apply for HRSDC approval and to CIC while my open work permit is still valid.

Is that acceptable by CIO or in that case also, job offer has to be for occupations under 0, A or B group from main NOC list?

On page 12 in the instruction guide, there is a difference between applicants who work in Canada and those who are in their home country. Those who don't work in Canada must have a job offer for occupations which are in group 0, A or B from main NOC list, but there is nothing about that mentioned for the applicants who work in Canada with valid work permit.

Does anyone who worked in Canada have any experience with this? Will HRSDC approve permanent job offer for me if I work in C or D occupation category and I want to apply for PR while my work permit is still valid?

You must have experience in one of the occupation listed under 0, A or B NOC list.

I don't think so, HRSDC will approve your application for AEO if your occupation is not in 0, A or B.

I am pretty sure about this but, you can confirm this by calling HRSDC call center or you can write them. They are situated in Newfoundland.

Ok, thanks.
I have previous experience in occupations under group A and B from main NOC list. I understand that.

I will call HRSDC to see what they think about job offer for occupations under C and D group.

occupations under C and D group, you may only be allowed to work as a temporary foreign worker.

So this means that after working as a temporary worker for 4 years in an occupation under group C or D from the NOC list, I can go home?

You can upgrade your skills & get promoted within the four years and apply for PR.

Yea, I guess that is the main goal and the right path to reach PR. Education and promotion. First to have a job and then arrange the PR.

Well, I will see how will the current PR FSW1 process go and then decide what's next thing to do. I'm just preparing some other options in the case of rejection.
