Good evening everyone.
First of all, happy new year!
Then, I hope I'm posting my question in the right section of this forum. I'm a 24 yo university student from Italy, just about to graduate my bachelor's degree. Since my dream of a lifetime is to come to Canada, it's been almost a year that I'm gathering information about how to immigrate to Canada. My only options so far are, basically, the Working Holiday visa or a student permit, meaning I should apply to some Canadian college or university. The problem is, Canadian colleges are way too expensive for me. The cheapest I've found is a two years master's degree at the University of Saskatchewan (total amount $18,000). So I was thinking about applying to the same master's degree here in Italy and then apply for some exchange program, like the so called Overseas or Erasmus mundus. There are a few Canadian universities that have a partnership with the university I'll apply to, like the University of Ottawa. This meaning I will (hopefully) spend a semester or even a full academic year in Canada. After I will be done with everything, if I decided to apply to the Express Entry program, would my semester/year abroad have any significance in the procedure?
I hope I have been clear, and I apologize in advance for any grammar mistakes.
Thanks!
