Are the visa applications processed during Christmas holidays?

If I am not wring the Christmas holidays in canada will start a little after December 15. If my application isn't processed till then will it be kept on hold for the next 20-25 days?

So I can only hope to get the visa till then or just defer the admission to fall 2021?

I’m not sure but I assume they will stop processing applications. Most of Canadians start to slack off or even stop working from the beginning of December. Lol this is what I learnt after living there for six years.

But they didn’t even finish the applications of fall intake, how are they gonna start to process Jan intake? I almost finish my fall semester and still no approval. Lol like my final exams are within one month. This is so ridiculous

No, processing will continue on Xmas holidays.
