are Police clearence certificates verified?

Hello guys,

I have five PCCs from five different countries i stayed over six months. Do you think CHC would spend so long time in verifying those PCCs? I been told by one of members here that application process get delayed when documents (PCC) are from several countires?

any comments from those who had to deal with few PCC from different countires?

Don't think they verify the PCCs unless they are suspicious about some details...
As a random check, they might do a verificaition on any or some of your documents.

Indian PCC says that Police has no records in their DB and you are residence address is mentioned along with a reference number of police file

I had a discussion in Police office in India issuinf the PCC and he told me that they recieve sme queries for verification from Canada and Austarlian Embassys in particular. So I assume they do verify for some cases if not all
