Hi there!

I am currently working on my inland CEC PR application and just had a question about AOR's and applicants experience in receiving them. I am concerned after reading some of these posts about how long it takes some applicants to receive AOR's with some of them taking 2-3 months after submission. I need to apply for my BOWP soon as my current WP expires in mid August and I am scared that I will not receive my AOR in time. :(

However there were a few posts where I did see that some applicants received their AOR's pretty quickly after submitting their e-APR.... How are some people getting theirs right away as opposed to some who are waiting a couple of months? Could it be that there is a difference in when you receive your AOR depending on whether you are doing an APR or an e-APR?

I could really use some help in this as I would hate for my status here to expire and not be able to bridge my WP because I haven't received my AOR yet

Any help in this would be greatly appreciated :)

AOR is kind of COnfirmation after you clikc submit and pay all the fees. Not sure where you read about AOR taking couple of months.
Probably you are interpreting AOR means some thing else.

IT will be instant and everybody gets the confirmation email and update very quickly. If you are looking for entire process, then it will take 5-6 months.

AOR for an Express Entry application is pretty much instant.

AOR for a paper based application takes longer.
