The average processing time between AOR to PPR about 6 months or less.
If you applies BOWP and application has been approved, in general you will able to find any job you like in Canada. However, if I were you, I would resign as soon as I received PPR.

Please do not resign from your job unless its absolutely essential. Submitting a complete application is no guarantee that you will receive your visa. Please check reasons for rejection thread and applicants waiting more than 6 months thread.
