Approximate Timelines about update / status and method of communication

Hi All,
I have send my application for FSW 2014 and they received it on July 25 2014, till now no response/update from them. i have couple of question please guide:

1) Approximately when i will receive any update?

2) How they will contact/update me i.e. via email or mail? (in both cases whether application accepted or rejected)

They are still working on applications from mid June. So it will likely be another month before you hear anything.
