Hey there,
I am preparing my PR file under CEC category. I am eligible for that and soon I'll be married so I am going to put my PR application with my spouse, me as principle applicant and souse as a dependant.
So some questions for that;

1) Should I make 2 separate files for both of us? mean one file with all the documents in the doc checklist of CEC for me and then one more file of my spouse with all the documents in the doc checklist of CEC?

2) Should I fill out this form, Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP)..?? because it says that completed by the principle applicant if the applicant has more than five dependants, whether they are accompanying or not. So in my case I dont have 5 dependants, but do have one :). so should I fill out this form or not.

3) should I give police certificates and clearances? for me and my spouse??

Thanks much!!

1) If you go through the checklist, you will see, it says who needs to fill out the forms. not all forms are needed for your spouse. But forms like Sch-A backgrnd decl / family information etc will be filled out by both of you.

2) No this form is not needed for you, since it is only two of you.

3) Yes PCC needed for both of you from your Home country. Also if any of you lived in a country for consecutive 6 months (other than Canada/HomeCountry), you need to add PCC from those countries too.

Checkout this guide for CEC applicants from CIC. It explains almost everything about the process:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp

And Medical exam results I'll send CIC after I get my assessment clear. They will guide me for that, right? So then Is it like I'll conduct/process my medicals here in Toronto,Canada and my spouse will conduct/process the medicals in the home country?

After submitting your file, about 2 months (or less) later you will receive a file number. This is known as AOR (acknowledgement of receipt). Then your file will be in queue for another 6 months or so. Then CIC will ask you to conduct medical examination, you can find accepted panel physicians in CIC's website. You can do medical anywhere in the world (together or separately).
