Hi,
I moved here with my boyfriend just over a year ago and we have started the process of applying for PR.
Because we are common law we can apply together, with him being the primary applicant because his job etc is better than mine (News Editor).
He is taking the CELPIP today- is this something I have to do as well or just him as the primary applicant? Don't want to fork out another $240 if we can help it.

Thanks!

In general a dependent is not required to take english/french test. That means your partner will not get CRS points for spouse English proficiency. If you think you have enough points without your English test you can go ahead and apply.
