Hello guys,

We already have an active FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) outland profile with more than 480 points. Given the uncertainty around the FSW draws, we are looking to apply for Québec PNP.

Please tell me if that would negatively influence our FSW application? What aspects should we keep in mind before we create our expression of interest?

Thank you for your help.

Online PNP in general requires an active EE profile, once you succeed to earn PNP nomination it adds up to your EE profile and if you click accept nomination you earn 600 additional point ending up with 1080 points eligible for PNP draws. Concluding it would be fruitful for you. Only if you receive a PNP ITA :you won't be able to immigrate to a province other than the one that has nominated you. And you will be off the pool too meaning you will not receive or can accept any other ITA.

However Quebec uniquely has its own immigration stream. Which i am not really familiar to. Try out below link hopefully it helps.

Thanks a lot for your response.

"The province of Quebec does not have a provincial nominee program. See their immigration website to learn more about their programs."

This is the reason I am confused and hence posted my query in the forums.

You might want to check Quebec threads for real life experiences ; )

I would stay away from the Quebec program. Too many bad experiences (you can read about them in the Quebec Skilled Worker section of the forum).

Risky to apply for CSQ in parallel with EE since this demonstrates an intent to settle in Quebec which could create issues for your EE application.
