Applying under CEC, checklist requires proof of funds, what to do ??

Hello All forum Members,

I am about to submit my Inland CEC application. I only got points for Canadian Experience and Canadian Education in my application, but the checklist that generated after filling all the forms requires me to upload proof of financial means. I was invited under CEC and thought i wouldnt be asked for proof of funds. How to deal with it ? Please help. I dont have enough funds into my account. What should i do? Seniors please help.

Answer '0' where it asks you for available funds. Before you make this change, re-read your ITA to confirm that you have indeed been invited under CEC. If you were eligible for both CEC and FSW, you'd have got invited under FSW.

Thanks Asivad for the quick response. I am 100% sure that my invitation is under CEC. Although i have foreign work experience but I didnt have required documentation to prove it so I didnt list it in the EE profile. I waited 6 months to complete my Canadian work experience just to make sure to base my application only on Canadian exp, plus without the need to show funds.

I got invitation in CEC class and PoF was in the checklist.

I waited 6 months to complete my Canadian work experience just to make sure to base my application only on Canadian exp, plus without the need to show funds.

In that case, make funds available as Zero and this should sort itself.

Also the checklist asks for Passport/travel document - Required- Multiple.
I only have one passport. Does multiple mean I have to upload my Post Graduate Work permit ??

The checklist also asks for Education (degree/diploma) and transcripts. Does it mean I need degree for the first and marksheets for the transcript ? I dont have WES ECA as my highest education is from Canada.

That's a generic message - applies only to people who hold multiple passports/citizenship.

As you haven't done an ECA, you are being prompted for degree copy and transcripts. Upload those for your Canadian credentials.

Unless IRCC asks differently now, upload just the bio page(s) of your valid passport.

I just realized that my checklist has not asked me to upload IELTS score report anywhere. Is this the way it is ??? or i am supposed to upload in the education section ? or they will ask for IELTS later ?

That's how it is. They can check it using the TRF reference number provided in your application.
