Hi All,
I have this important question and would be thankful if someone with similar experience or some senior expert could answer it.

Basically like this:
I work full time for employer A
I got offer from employer B for full time job and applied 3 year work permit after positive LMO
After 2 months i got full time offer from employer C, much better Job and hence decided to go for it again applied 3 year work permit after approved positive LMO ( i got positive LMO for both employers)

Work permit with employer A is expiring about the same time when i am expected to get new work permit from Employer B.
Hence i want to Join Employer B and after 2-3 months. once work permit for employer C is approved i will Join employer C after serving required notice period with employer B.

Basically there is 2 month time gap b/w two applications(for employer B and C, processing time is 80 days currently) so i would like to work for employer B for two months and then switch to employer C once the work permit is available. Is that possible?

My question:
1. Is this fine or i am not allowed to do this way?
2. Do i need to update CIC about the new work permit once i get approved work permit for employer B while the work permit for employer C still in progress? or CIC does not need this update and they have this information with them already

You're fine. CIC will be able to see your entire client history on their computers. You are permitted to have multiple outstanding applications. It's unusual, but allowed. At one point I had four applications of different types outstanding - two permanent and two temporary. I'm down to three now, and am in the process of withdrawing two of them because they are no longer necessary.

Good luck!

Thanks Buddy appreciate your quick Response.
One Last Question:
After i receive work permit for employer C do i need to immediately leave the Job from Employer B or i can work for 1-2 month serve notice period and then Join Employer C. There is lot of confusion about new work permit invalidating ( or not invalidating) old work permit in the internet so just want to get your view.

As long as you have a valid work permit for Employer B, you may continue working for Employer B until such time as the work permit expires. In fact, if you decide you don't like Employer C, you could go back to Employer B - again, as long as the work permit has not expired (or been revoked).

Thanks for your quick response. Gives me lot of relief :)
