Applying to University for Graduate program

Hello everybody.
I am an immigrant to Canada and I have a 3 year undergraduate degree in Bachelor's of Computer application from an esteemed university in India. I was looking to apply to some programs here for further studies. Is it worth it to acquire a graduate certificate? Say in a field like UI/UX, or Artificial intelligence? Does it reduce the likelihood of landing jobs as compared to master's degrees? Do employers value master's degrees over graduate certificates? And how is the job market in Canada for Indian immigrants?

With a 3 year Bachelors you may not be able to apply for any of the masters programs. You usually need a 4 year degree. You will have to contact each masters program to see if they will accept a 3 year degree. Having a masters and doing a more practical certificate are different and usually lead to different opportunities. Masters is viewed as a supervisor degree but that doesn’t matter for many jobs. Would suggest looking up job postings for jobs you strive to have one day and see what degrees are required/preferred. Would also try to ask people currently working in the industry what type of degree would be best.
 
Certificates usually aid in progression and promotion to ones who already are experienced and are currently employed. Who wants to add another skill into their career profile.
However masters is another sound degree that have its vital nature. Coming out an esteemed DLI with masters and having a grip on a specific domain has its own job prospects.
Although as a general rule MASTERS > PG certificates
