Hi!

Just wanted to ask for advise. Me and my husband is trying to apply to migrate as skilled workers to quebec. However, soneone just offered to hire me and help me get a working pass. Is it still ok to continue our application for quebec even though I already have a working pass when the time comes? Please help! I dont want to let the opportunity pass but I also dont want to compromise our application... :'(

Yes - as long as the work permit is for a job in Quebec. If the job is outside of Quebec, you may face challenges being approved for the Quebec skilled worker program.

Thanks so much for your reply. I'm not sure if the working pass I will be getting is in quebec. if not, then it would be wiser to just let the opportunity go? Or should I take advantage of this and just let my husband apply by himself for the skilled worker program?

If either you or your spouse want to come to Canada on a work permit and also have plans to apply for PR in Quebec, then you should make sure the work permit is for a job in Quebec. That would be my advice.
