Applying to Canada Permanent Residency Card

Hi,

I would like to know that Is this eligibly possible for a US green card holder to come to Canada and eligible apply for the Canada PR Card, if yes how and what is the process, and if not what is the eligible way of doing this?
If somebody can assist much appreciated.

Having a Green card does not automatically qualify a person for a Canadian PR card. You need to see if you are eligible to apply through one of the immigration streams here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/eligibility.asp
