Applying PR through Arranged Employment and changing employers

Hello everyone,

I came to Canada 4 months back on a work permit as an IT Manager.

1. Can I apply for the PR under Arranged Employment category? and how much time does it take to process the application.
2. If I change the employer during this duration, what will happen to my PR application. Will it be denied as I have changed my employer.

The employer will probably cancel the PNP nomination, and your application when then be refused.

they do usally give you a month to find a new job that will sponser you, they gave me and month but i asked for an extra month and they gave it to me.
sent off the paperwork yesterday for a new job Pnp, should hear back tomorrow hopefully.

my Pnp took about 7-8 months, i think that is abit long, they shouldnt take more than 5 i think.. dont quote me on that.
PR under pnp takes 12-15 months i think.
sent mine off later november 2010 and still havent got anything back, the only thing i know is that they have cashed the cheque in january...
