Applying PR from India as Insurance Adjudicator

Hi Seniors,

My Bro has 10 years experience as Insurance Adjudicator. His Job is not in the new list.

Is it possible for him to visit Canada on a Tourist Visa, Get a Job and then apply for PR?

Or he first need to get a liecense to get a job in this sector? Is it possible to get a liecense on a tourist visa?

Please guide if there is any way out for him to apply for PR.

Unfortunately he will be spending lot of money, which could not help. If any of your relative settled in Canada who is willing to provide accommodation and food, it would be good relief but, still he need medical insurance and other expense. He can try to get a study permit for any diploma or certificate course on his field, which would be more helpful than applying for a visitor visa.

Yes,
My cousin lives in Edmonton and Uncle lives in Ontario. Both are willing to provide food and accommodation to him. So, you would suggest that instead of tourist visa he should go on student visa? Later will be having much more cost, but if this is the only option he will do it. Still request you to kindly advise if he can do the same on a tourist visa.

My other apprehension is that Insurance Adjudicators only need basic qualification "Senior Secondary i.e., Education till 12th Class only" so he cant apply for study permit with conviction.

As he has some one in Canada, he can try for a job while on visitor status. Mostly the employers will accept job applications only from those who are "legally allowed to work" and a visitor is not allowed to work. Therefore he has to look for a potential employer who is willing to hire him . The employer will be required to obtain a labour market opinion (LMO) from Human Resources and Social Development Canada/Service Canada (HRSDC/SC). Once he has secured employment with an employer in Canada, and his employer has obtained LMO from HRSDC/SC, he should apply for a work permit as CIC directs. He should consider the allowed visiting period, which could be up to 6 months.
