Hello!
I am applying for a TRV online to come to Canada next year.
I created an account online and when I try to add my family members ( 7 family members total including myself). It doesn't allow me to add a family member after I add the 6th member.
Is there a limit on how many family members can apply together online? is it 6 individuals? ..... has anyone faced a similar issue or has explanation of what the reason might be?

I guess few other's faced this limitation with the online form here. Isn't each member required to fill their own application form? Online form should have placeholders for each member declared. If not then you have to fill additional forms for the remaining members (I think it is IMM5257), combine as a single PDF and upload as an additional document.

Yes each member is required to fill their own application form, but the issue is I can't declare more than 6 individuals online, we are a family of 7. are you trying to say that I can just upload the the papers of the 7th individual merged with any of the 6 members?

Well, merging may not be possible if you use the IRCC IMM forms as they are secured (can't combine). So I suggest put the information for the 7th member in a separate doc (create it) and upload it. I don't know how the exact online interface for an TRV looks like these days, but I have seen many forms ask to attach additional information by attaching additional pages. That's the way how I see it.

Thanks! I appreciate your input

It seems IRCC have limited the number of family members who can apply in one application online to 6, which is very odd! like what is the point? I just don't get it.
Like you said, I think the only way is either to try and add the forms of the 7th member in one of the other 6 members 'profiles', maybe where it asks for optional documents ... or just apply on paper, an option that is not available in many countries now thanks to Covid
I am thinking about calling IRCC tomorrow, maybe they have some answer

I just tried come to Canada tool for different programs/visa types just to test how it works. no matter what program I chose, it didn't allow me to declare more than 6 individuals, after the 6 is added, it doesn't ask me anymore whether I need to add more. it just asks me to save and continue to the document checklist
