I am on H-4 and my husband on H-1. As my skills are on demand in CIC site..... I am planning to apply for Canada PR under Federal class ... It's already 1 year since I came to USA...Chances are high that I will stay in USA for next 1 year as it seems processing time when one applies in US is 1 year.. but there is slight possibility that I might need to move to India before 1 year as well depending on husband's employer's needs....
Please let me know:
- what kind of problems I might face if I move to India in between of the immigration process ? Is address change from US to India in b/w process is common scenario ?
- If there are lot of issues in changing address specially countries, then shall I wait to apply when I go back to India....but the problem is that processing times are much much more from India......
- I have heard not sure that during later stages when police clearance and specially medical clearance is required... CIC will send documents to authroized medical officer in USA to get medical checks done and .if I won't be physically present then CIC would send file to Delhi and process would be started from scratch.....and processing fees might also be lost .....is this true ?
Please suggest whoever has good info on this....?
