Hello Canadavisa-Forum,
I've applied for an IEC working holiday visa (open work permit) in Canada with my home country address in Germany. Now I'm already in Canada living at my boyfriends house and officially declared my current stay as visit. He is also from Germany and working here, but he received his working permit upon arrival at the Airport.
My work permit application is already submitted and I just need to submit my fingerprints.
I've seen that I can do that from within Canada.
I haven't received the Letter of Introduction yet.
What happens when I receive my Letter of Introduction though?
Is there still a way for me to apply from within Canada?
Shall I use my boyfriends address or can I still change my address?
If I apply from Germany, but I'm already in Canada is there a way to receive the work permit at the Airport not upon arrival but just by dropping in?
I'm a little confused by the information on the internet.
I'd be really glad about help!
I already paid the fees and if it doesn't work out and I need to fly back and enter Canada again to receive a work permit I won't be able to afford the working holiday.
Thank you,
lsfms
