Hi All,

We will be applying with the address in Ontario, however it is very likely that throughout the process, we will move to Quebec. What is required when this occurs?

Thanks!

You have to change your address with CIC in ECAS and then with the VO.

You will also have to go through Quebec Immigration to get a CSQ (certificate) once you get to Quebec.

I just did the opposite, moved from Quebec to Ontario.

So once we move we reach out to Quebec? It's OK to move without having that first?

I would check with CIC and give them a call on how the process works.

Because you have to get a CSQ from Quebec this may slow down your application.

If you haven't moved already, it just may be easier to wait until you move to apply. Just my opinion.

I have had to provide proof to the VO that I am living in Ontario (utility bills etc.), you would probably have to do the same.
